First Bank code to perform transactions with your ordinary phone

Instead of going to the bank to perform all your transactions you can actually do them with your phone not just a smart phone but all other phones. All you need to do is to dial the code your bank have provided to perform such transaction.

First Bank

 steps to buy airtime directly from your first bank account

a. Get hold of your phone with the simcard (the phone number) you used in opening the account.

b. Dial *894# you get a welcome note that says: welcome to *894# with the following options;

1>Quick banking

2>open an account

3> firstmonie

Choose option 1 to proceed to the next menu with the following options;

1>transfer money

2>airtime (self)

3>airtime(others)

4>enquiry services

5>buy data

6>other services

7>next page

Here you can either choose to recharge your line (number you used in opening the account) which is option 2 <airtime (self)> or choose to recharge a different line or for your friends or family which is option 3 <airtime (others)>

c.Or instead of this long process just dial *894*amount# for self and *894*amount*phone number# for another for a different number

And you that’s just it.

Steps to transfer from first bank account to another account ( it could be your other bank account or to a family member or a friend or whosoever you want to transfer to)

a. Get hold of your phone with the simcard (the phone number) you used in opening the account.

b. Dial *894# you get a welcome note that says: welcome to *894# with the following options

1>Quickbanking

2>open an account

3> firstmonie

select option 1 to proceed to the next menu with the following options; 

1>transfer money

2>airtime (self)

3>airtime(others)

4>enquiry services

5>buy data

6>other services

7>next page

Select option 1

you will be asked to enter amount, after typing the amount just send then you get a another instruction asking you to enter recipient account number(make sure you cross-check the account number very well to avoid transferring to the wrong account)

 follow the instruction then press send after this you will get another instruction asking you to select recipient bank,

 select the bank you are sending to another instruction will pop up asking you to input your 5 digit pin(secret pin) after entering your pin touch send to complete transaction. Another message will pop up saying transfer successful! Waiting for ALERT…? *894*00# to check your account balance

c. Or instead of this long process just dial *894*amount*account number# (make sure you cross-check the account number very well to avoid transferring to the wrong account)

don't forget that you can just dial *894*00# to check your account balance as seen in the picture above.
